Connie Henry is the head nurse at the Ford Assembly Plant in Claycomo, Kansas and is a big fan of F-150’s. Henry’s husband drives a blue, 2009 F-150 that has almost 200,000 miles on it, but she says it still drives as if it’s brand new.

Less than one year ago, Connie came across a quilt panel that had a barn and an F-150 on it. “It looked exactly like a blue Ford 150 truck that my husband drives,” Henry said.

She ended up buying her very own panel with the expectation of doing a quilt with a blue F-150 on it like the one her husband drives. “It was kind of an odd size,” she said. “I was thinking, ‘What am I going to do with it?’ After Henry officially got going, it took her less than two weeks to finish the project. She gave the quilt to her husband who now proudly displays it in his man-cave.
