“We are moving into an exciting new period of innovation in transportation, so it is very important to keep the human experience at the center of all we do, including delivering any new technology with quality.”
-Bennie Fowler, Group Vice President
Ford recently received a number 2 in the 2017 J.D. Power Initial Quality Study for non-premium brands. This is a new record for Ford as this is their best-ever ranking in the 31-year long study. That’s not all, the Ford Mustang and Ford Expedition won quality segment awards, along with seven Lincoln and Ford models landing in the top 3 of their segments. Top quality honors!
No surprise they landed an impressive ranking!
According to J.D. Power, In 2016, Ford improved 86 problems per 100 vehicles, jumping from 11th to 4th amongst all brands in the study. Today, Ford Engineers are continuing to improve by offering more models than any other full-line manufacturer in the United States with driver-assist features such as forward collision warning and adaptive cruise control (just to name a few). Bennie Fowler, Group Vice President of Ford Motor Company says,“As Ford accelerates the pace of innovation, we believe this best-ever quality ranking demonstrates our new technologies are reliable and easy to use…quality is a race that is never finished”
