Ford Transit sales continue to accelerate, doubling since last month and quadrupling since September.

Ford Motor Co. sold 4,851 Transit vans in November, up 114.9% from 2,257 in October. Produced at Ford’s Kansas City Assembly Plant, the Transit van was by far the star of Kansas City-made automobiles in the November sales report.

The sales report for the 2014 Ford F-150, also produced at the Kansas City Assembly Plant, show the vehicle’s dominance as it remains the best-selling vehicle in North America.
