Recognized as the “King of the Kustomizers,” George Barris is a name familiar to anyone who grew up watching Batman, Starsky & Hutch, The Munsters, The Beverly Hillbillies and Nightrider. Sonny’s ‘Stang was a masterpiece – receiving 40 coats of lacquer to achieve the Murano Gold Pearl, with dark brown side panels, as well as an orange and gold fade-away treatment over the wheel wells and grille openings.

Cher’s hot pink pearl Mustang – with candy red inserts – featured a subtle interior of ermine fur and black antique Scottish leather upholstery, trimmed in hot pink suede.

In 2009, the asking price for the pair was listed at $450,000.
